Disclaiming Barcelona Issues, Lautaro Admits Happy with Inter
Lautaro Martinez issued a clarification regarding the rumors of Barcelona’s interest. The Argentine striker said he felt comfortable with Inter Milan. He also mentioned a lot that had happened after Antonio Conte was present at the Giuseppe Meazza.
The 22-year-old bomber showed remarkable development in his second season in Italy. In the 2018/2019 edition, which was his first period, he could only record nine goals in a total of 35 matches. Especially in Serie A, he only earned six goals from 27 parties.
This season, productivity has nearly doubled. The former Racing Club player has temporarily contributed 15 goals in 24 games overall. If only in domestic competition, he has scored 10 goals in 18 appearances.
Consistently Lautaro’s performance made several European clubs begin to look at him, including Barcelona. El Azulgrana is said to want to recruit him as the long-term successor of Luis Suarez who is now 32 years old.

‘I must continue to walk this path. This is the mentality that I maintain while sleeping. I am very calm, very happy and comfortable with Inter. What I did at Inter benefited the national team. I have to work hard every day so I can wear an Argentine uniform,’ he said.
